Ithaca’s dance team "Vicky Drakopanagiotaki" was formed at the same time as the Greek cultural society in 2018. Ithaca’s dance team has given shows at festivals, weddings, restaurants, care homes and social gatherings.

Byzantine Iconography
The Byzantine iconography (hagiographia) is the art of displaying the religious themes with an ultimate aim to link the natural with the spiritual world. The icon themes are taken from the Old Testament, the Gospel and the life of Saints. The golden background that is used in the icons, creates the impression of a transcendental world, which isolates the representation of the icons from the earthly environment.
