We are delighted to invite you to the inaugural celebration of our new community library, a space dedicated to culture, learning, and connection.
The grand opening will take place on Sunday, 4 October 2026 at 13:00 at the Midlands Greek and Cypriot Association, Magnet Centre, Park Approach, Birmingham B23 7SJ.
We are deeply privileged to welcome His Excellency, the Greek Ambassador in London, Yannis Tsaousis, as our guest of honour. During the ceremony, we will express our profound gratitude to the Ambassador, whose immense generosity made this library possible through the donation of the vast majority of our book collection.
In addition to the official dedication, the afternoon will feature the exciting announcement of the winner of our Summer Photography Competition.Please join us to explore the new shelves, celebrate this milestone, and enjoy light refreshments with the community.

The event will take place on Sunday afternoon, 18th of October, at 13:30, in Appolon Room at the Midlands Greek and Cypriot Association, Magnet Centre, Park Approach, Birmingham B23 7SJ. The location is easily accessible by bus, train, and there is also free parking available at the premises.
